Winning Flying Lesson Ticket

One lucky visitor to the Alan Shearer Foundation Community Day held at Newcastle Airport last month has still to claim a high flying prize.

All drivers who paid a £5 entrance fee to park at the prime viewing area for aircraft taking off and landing for the Sunderland Airshow were entered into a draw for a trial flying lesson and simulator ride, worth £200, donated by Northumbria Flying School.

The winning white cloakroom ticket number 42 was drawn by Typhoon Display Team pilot, Keith Downes, at the Community Day on July 27. The fundraising day was organised by the airport's private jet facility Samson Aviation, which nominated the Alan Shearer Foundation as its adopted charity in May.

If you have the winning ticket email adele.southern@stcuthbertscare.org.uk or call Adele on 0191 228 0111 and she will arrange for you to receive your prize.
