Eileen the ventriloquist

Visitors to the Alan Shearer Centre had a fabulous treat this week when Aunty Eileen made an appearance with friends Joe, Daphne the Donkey and Nip the Dog.

Eileen entertained her audience with a magical ventriloquist performance, sing alongs and plenty of audience participation including a hokey cokey dance, pass the mic singing - and a tickle of Nip the Dog's furry tummy.

Members of the South Shields Group 38 Hosanna Children's Pilgrimage Trust commented afterwards: "Another lovely visit to the Centre. A fabulous hour in the ballpool. Our children loved it! A noisy hour in the music room, and some surprise entertainment from Aunty Eileen the ventriloquist. We’ve all had a brilliant time and can’t wait for our next visit."
