Spring is in the air at the Alan Shearer Centre

Snowdrops at the Alan Shearer Centre

Storms may be raging in the south but at the Alan Shearer Centre there are some signs of spring!

Hardy snowdrops have managed to withstand the watery weather to present some pretty blooms around the Centre's car park and our all-weather woodland path.

The wheelchair accessible trail around the trees is a great place to get some fresh air and look out for signs of a new season, listen for birds singing and spot squirrels bounding across the lawn and into the bushes. After a nature trail around the grounds you can rest, warm up and enjoy some refreshments at Browne's, our on-site café.

The Alan Shearer Centre is open for disabled people and their carers to use the facilities, both indoors and outdoors, all year round, for free.
