Having a wicked time for Halloween

Some of the halloween partygoers

We've had ghosts and ghouls galore haunting our services for the past few nights as Halloween parties popped up everywhere.

The regulars at our Parkhead Resource Centre in Ashington avoided any real spooks and vampires by holding their party long before the witching hour, to make sure everyone was home before sunset.

They were joined by all the residents of our Bailiffgate home in Alnwick for a disco with party games and a buffet. Parkhead manager, Claire Graham, said, “We had a fantastic day, there were lots of prizes to be won on the dance floor and a raffle, so no one left empty handed! It was great to welcome everyone from Bailiffgate and we're looking forward to seeing them all again soon, at one of our Christmas events.”

The Alan Shearer Activity Centre got into the spooky spirit too with an afternoon of creepy cake decorating for younger members, followed by their popular after-dark Halloween disco for the adults. There was a special “horrific” buffet and the centre was decked out with cobwebs and spiders for the night.
