Friendship has been the focus of Valentine’s Day across our services as people have come together to enjoy the most popular celebration of love in the world.
Residents living in our Alan Shearer Residential home joined tenants from our Independent Supported Living Services at a fabulous hearts and flowers disco at the Alan Shearer Activity Centre.
“The dance floor was packed,” said Centre manager, Jackie, “and I spotted some very impressive wheelchair dancing. A good time was definitely had by all.”
Over at our Holy Cross nursing home in Sunderland, resident, Theresa got up especially early to bake some beautiful rainbow cookies for everyone.
Now that’s what we call a Valentine’s treat.
