Our Alan Shearer Centre Woodland Walk was under close scrutiny when some of our young members set off on a bug hunt adventure.
Supported by our friendly recreation assistants and armed with magnifying glasses, binoculars and a list of tiny creatures to find and identify, our intrepid explorers left no stone unturned to complete their quest.
“Even in the winter months our Woodland Walk is teeming with nature,” said recreation assistant, Heather, “and it’s fully accessible so everyone can join in.”
Sounds like the bees knees!
