Staying Connected

Rainbox Montage

Seeing a rainbow has long been believed to be a sign of good things to come and has undoubtedly become a symbol of hope during these unusual times.

Last week, we asked our Facebook audience to show us the rainbows they'd created to show their support for the NHS, carers and all frontline workers. We weren't disappointed! So many people posted an astonishing array of colour, displayed on their windows, driveways and walls, to show their support. Some were made of wool, paint, chalk and one was even created in Lego!

As the Alan Shearer Centre is currently closed, we would like to stay in touch with all of you via our Facebook page. We expect to post puzzles on a Monday for you to complete and share a virtual visit to somewhere in the world online on Thursdays. We hope to stay connected with you all and share our experiences and tips of how to stay safe and happy during the lockdown.
