Welcome to the Alan Shearer Specialist Residential Home

Providing long-term care and accommodation for up to eight people, our Alan Shearer Specialist Residential home is regulated by the Care Quality Commission and is specifically designed and expertly staffed to serve the complex needs of adults with disabilities and challenging behaviours.

About our specialist home

Our home focuses on creating a safe, nurturing, enabling environment where residents can feel happy and comfortable in their own home and are fully supported to develop to their personal potential.

Our dedicated staff are skilled in looking after people with a range of complex disabilities and needs and receive regular training in caring for people across the autistic spectrum and for those with varying degrees of epilepsy. At all times, we work closely with families and professionals to make sure we deliver care that is tailored to meet the needs and preferences of each individual.

Our specialist residential home is the only one of its kind to offer inclusive access to the full benefits of our acclaimed Alan Shearer Activity Centre.
