When the beautiful autumn leaves begin to fade and drop, they can make a bit of a mess, but, for one of our volunteers, clearing them up is simply a challenge to be overcome.
Julie, who lives in our independent supported living service, likes nothing better than lending a helping hand to keep things looking spick and span at our Alan Shearer Centre – even if it is a bit of a long job at this time of year.
We wonder what Julie’s secret is for cleaning up after so many trees … “A big shovel and lots of tea,” she said.
