Rachel, resident at our Alan Shearer Residential Home enjoys nothing more than spending time at the Alan Shearer Activity Centre with her favourite recreation assistant, Heather.
The pair have enjoyed so many art and craft sessions over the last few months – with projects such as upcycling furniture and creating musical instruments. Their latest creation took a little over two weeks, as there was plenty of breaks to enjoy the beautiful weather, and demonstrated two of Rachel’s talents – patience and determination.
“Rachel’s smile shows just how happy she was with the end result.” said Heather. “The tiger mosaic has taken centre stage in our display area for everyone to see.”
